Turn-by-turn directions

The Hochjoch cable car takes you up to the Kapellalpe in two sections. Then the chairlift takes you up to the Sennigrat summit station. A 10-minute panoramic path leads to the nearby Wormser hut on the wide path at lofty heights. The Montafon lies at your feet, crowned by the bizarre beauty of the Rätikon. At the Wormser hut, the trail leads to the Kreuzjoch, which is almost 100 m higher. A fantastic view compensates for this easy ascent. The hike leads from the Kreuzjoch down to the Lake Herzsee. One floor below, a small lake eye (Lake Kälbersee) The trail continues to the Surblies viewpoint, which offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Verwall mountains and the Walgau region. Via Alpböden back to the top station of the Hochjoch cable car.
