Von Brand über den großen Walserweg hinein ins Sarotlatal und steil hinauf zur Sarotlahütte. Gehzeit ca. 2h.
Von dort auf steilem Steig ins Zimbajoch (ca. 1,5h) und Trittspuren folgend zur Schlüsselstelle des Westgrates, der Sohmplatte (3+). Ab hier in 8 Seillängen auf den Gipfel der Zimba. Gehzeit ca. 4h.
Vom Gipfel über die Abseilpiste am Nordostgrat (4 Absteilstellen) hinab ins Steintäli und dem Wanderweg folgend zurück zur Sarotlahütte. Gehzeit ca. 2h.
Durchs Sarotlatal zurück nach Brand. Gehzeit ca. 1,5h.
