From Bludenz station the Montafonerbahn runs every hour (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.
Timetable mbs Bahn
The land buses of the Montafonerbahn operate throughout the entire Montafon. The main lines run every hour from Schruns station.
From Schruns train station you can take bus number 85 in the direction of Partenen. The exit point is: "Bergbahnen". The Vermuntbahn in Partenen takes
you to Trominier in just 5 minutes. From there, minibuses take you through tunnels and the wintery high mountain landscape of the Silvretta to the
Bielerhöhe at 2,032 m.
Getting there
Coming from Bludenz, take the motorway exit Bludenz/Montafon and follow the L188 into Montafon. Follow the L188 deep into the valley to Partenen. Here you turn right to the Vermuntbahn. The Vermuntbahn in Partenen takes you to Trominier in only 5 minutes. From there, minibuses will take you through tunnels and the wintery high mountain landscape of the Silvretta to the Bielerhöhe at 2,032 m.Parking
There are numerous parking possibilities at the Vermuntbahn. If these spaces are already occupied, there are also parking possibilities across the street at the Tafamuntbahn.Coordinates
Equipment
You need a SNOOC, a pair of good waterproof shoes and a quality wetsuit.For the SNOOC snowshoe sledge descent, consider a mask and scarf for the face and gaiters to prevent the snow from coming up.
