Hiking bus Verwall European nature reserve
As the rear Silbertal is a quiet zone from September 15 to June 15, there is "no" hiking bus during this time. The rear Silbertal is also closed to mountain bikers and e-bikers from October 15 to June 15.
Hikers can still enjoy the beauty of the upper Silbertal to the full after 15 September and before 15 June. However, please make sure that you are not out and about at dawn or dusk.
The new travel times of the hiking bus to the Verwall Silbertal European nature reserve are Tuesday, June 16, 2026 to Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The hiking bus "Europaschutzgebiet Verwall - Silbertal" starts at the SPAR store in the center of Silbertal and runs only on "Tuesday" and "Friday" and goes "through" to the "Untere Gaflunaalpe". Reservations must be made online by 17:00 the day before, as the hiking bus only runs if there are at least 8 confirmed bookings.
IMPORTANT!!! Return trips are also possible. However, these can only be booked at the citizen service center Silbertal (Tel: +43 5556 7410 40 - @-mail), as these are of course only possible if the hiking bus is also in operation in the morning.

Cancellation conditions: Cancellations free of charge are only possible until 17:00 the day before. If you cancel later (after 17:00 on the day before departure from the hiking bus), the amount paid will only be refunded if a medical certificate is presented.
