Get to know the forest with its life-giving significance and its inhabitants
The Montafon Forest School aims to promote an understanding of the forest and the natural interrelationships in nature. For this reason, our focus is on playful and tangible learning and experiencing what is happening in nature.
During a forest tour, not only the mind but also the senses are stimulated and own activities are encouraged. Children and adults should be able to smell, feel, taste and hear the forest through their senses. They should also be able to experience the functions of the forest. By observing and exploring, they learn to recognize and act. In the long term, this will lead to a responsible approach to nature.
