Cross-country skiing charity on the Kristberg in Silbertal

... a real "win-win-win" event

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the time has come again ...

... and it's all about charity again on the Kristberg in Silbertal, the gourmet mountain in the Montafon. Every kilometer you run on the 11 km long panorama trail will be donated by the Montafon Kristbergbahn, the Panoramagasthof Kristberg, by the Silbertal snow sports school, by the municipality of Silbertal - and the carpemedia GbR- advertising communication & design into cash. The total proceeds go to the social institution "Net for children".

"We have a wonderful, freshly groomed panoramic trail on the Kristberg. It is also important to us that we run campaigns that support children in Vorarlberg. This idea gave rise to the first "cross-country skiing charity" in 2015, reports Jürgen Zudrell, Managing Director of the Montafon Kristbergbahn.

"It's very straightforward: just come along and cross-country ski - no need to register. Every kilometer run on the 11 km panoramic trail from 10:00 to 15:00 is worth € 3.00 (all good things come in threes) ! And of course there is no entry fee for this event!" emphasizes the organizer.
