Tourbeschreibung

From the oldest church in Montafon, you are led up to Rellseck, from where you have a magnificent view of the Rätikon as well as over the Alpine town of Bludenz and the Walgau.

Description

This wonderful winter hike offers you not only an exciting path but also magnificent viewpoints. During your entire route, you are granted a magnificent view of the Rätikon. The Vandanser Steinwand with the impressive mountain “Zimba”, as well as the mighty “Three Towers” at the end of the Gauer valley. But also at Rellseck, the highest point on this route, you will be rewarded with a special view into the distance. You can let your gaze wander far into the Walgau on a clear day. With some luck, when visibility is good, you can even see the Säntis in Switzerland in the distance. If your gaze wanders to the left, you can see the full beauty of the Montafon. This is also the case on the return path back down to Bartholomäberg. The view allows you to look far into the rear Montafon. The valley winds impressively along. At Bartholomäberg, with the oldest church in Montafon, an additional cultural highlight awaits you as the conclusion of your route.
