You start in Partenen at the church and continue downstream on the village street to the "Old Gas Station." From there the hiking trail leads towards Ganifer - Kops. You go under the Lifinar drag lift and come over the Lifinar to the Stelli. Now follow the signposts towards Partenen Loch. At Partenen Loch (1,128 m), follow the signposts for Bellamaisäß to a small bridge, which you must now cross. You have now reached the highest point of our route. With a wonderful view over Partenen, your hike leads over the Bellamaisäß to the toll station of the Silvretta High Alpine Road. Your path continues towards the Vermuntbahn valley station. Already from some distance you can see one of the highlights of your route in Partenen – the Gufelste. According to legend, the split rock originates from an earlier conflict between the Lower Engadine and the Montafon. Going downstream, you continue past the Partenen swimming pool. Here a short detour to the left upwards leads towards Innerbofa. Have you ever seen a perfectly straight staircase with 3,600 steps? Because after a few meters you stand before our Europatreppe 4000, the longest straight staircase in Europe. The fastest athletes need about 20 minutes for the 700 vertical meters. Your path takes you back a few meters on the road and then down the meadow on the left to the Vermunt power plant. After the power plant, you can see the Rifa reservoir on the left side. You carefully cross the Montafonerstraße and see in front of you a kind of tunnel in the rock. Behind it – built directly into the rock – is the Kopswerk I, which has been generating electricity since 1969. On the village street you go back downstream, pass the birth house of Bishop Rudigier on the right side of the road, and see the “Lichtspielhaus” – the Vallülasaal. This hall has a long history and is used for many events. So, after a few meters, you have reached your starting point.
