Montafon Tourismus GmbH has been awarded ÖKOPROFIT - a visible sign of our commitment to environmentally conscious and sustainable development in the valley.
The seal stands for a holistic approach:
Environmental protection and resource conservation are combined with economic efficiency.
The annual recertification is a mandate for us to implement sustainable changes in everyday life - for example through better waste separation, conscious purchasing or resource-conserving event planning. In this way, we take responsibility for the region and strengthen our economic basis at the same time.

Working Together Toward Certification
Over the course of several months, Montafon Tourism, Stand Montafon, and ARA Montafon, together with the Bludenz Alpine Region and Bregenz Tourism, prepared for and implemented the ÖKOPROFIT certification. As part of this process, an environmental management system was introduced in the participating organizations. This involves defining, implementing, and annually reviewing goals and measures.
Internally, Montafon Tourism is focusing on specific measures such as the gradual transition of its vehicle fleet to electric vehicles, waste separation and waste reduction, and the use of certified eco-friendly cleaning products.
